CLINICAL SCIENCE PROGRAM
The Clincal Science program at PARIS UNIVERSITY is 72-weeks long and is divided into 48 weeks of Core clerkships and 24 weeks of Electives.
Core Clerkships are mandatory clerkships done at University-affiliated hospitals.
Elective Clerkships are selected based on student interest and can be done at University-affiliate hospitals or at non-affiliate hospitals. Members of the Dean's office will assist the student in the selection of the Electives that best suites their future goals, like obtaining a residency match in a field of their choice.

FAMILY MEDICINE
DURATION: 6 WEEKS
ELECTIVE CLERKSHIPS
Students are required to do 24 weeks of Electives. Each elective should be of at least 4 weeks in duration.
Electives should include at least one item from:

Medical specialty, like nephrology, cardiology, pulmonology, etc.

Surgical specialty, like vascular surgery, neurosurgery, etc.

Primary care, which can be family medicine, emergency medicine, outpatient clinics etc.

Other specialty like pathology, radiology, orthopedics, anesthesiology, etc.
